QuillBot is an online paraphrasing tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help users rewrite their text in a more clear and more concise manner. Sometimes, even if the writer is not actually plagiarizing content, plagiarism tools count some phrases or sentences because they are alike. Re-wording long sentences or paragraphs until they don't match with other pieces of academic content can take a while. Thus, to speed up this process, here is a guide on how to use QuillBot:
Go to the QuillBot website: To use QuillBot, you need to visit the official website.
Paste or type in the text you want to paraphrase: Once you have selected your preferred mode, you can either paste the text you want to paraphrase into the input box or type it directly into the input box.
Choose the level of paraphrasing you want: QuillBot offers three levels of paraphrasing: Fluency and Standard (the only options for free). Fluency mode focuses on keeping the original meaning of the text, while Standard mode rewrites the text to make it more concise and easy to understand.
Click "Paraphrase": After choosing the level of paraphrasing you want, click the "Paraphrase" button to let QuillBot rewrite the text.
Review and edit the paraphrased text: Once QuillBot has finished rewriting the text, you can review the paraphrased text and make any necessary edits.
Save or copy the paraphrased text: Finally, you can either save the paraphrased text to your computer or copy and paste it into your document or application.
